Grants for students
The Congress organizers will provide a few grants for student delegates. The Congress registration fees will be waived for grant recipients. The grantee selection will be based on the scientific merits of the applicant's submitted paper(s) and on the personal circumstances, particularly for students from low-income countries.
To apply for the grant, it is necessary first to register on this website as a student (put a tick for "Student" in your profile). The online application form will be accessible via the "Grant application" item in the "Participant menu" in the right pane of this webpage. Applicant must fill in the online form for STUDENTS and upload his/her CV and cover/endorsement letter from supervisor/advisor by June 1st, 2014. Notifications will be sent by June 15th, 2014.
The grant cover/endorsement letter should contain a brief justification of your needs of the financial support and an explicit commitment that if the grant is awarded, the balance of the delegate's expenses for attending the Congress will be covered by home institution or obtained from other sources.
Grantees will be required to declare in written how their grant will be used.
The Doctoral School organizers will also provide a few grants for students. The school registration fees will be reimbursed for grant recipients. The grantee selection will be based on the applicants' scientific merits and on their personal circumstances, such as being students from low-income countries.
To apply for the school grant, it is necessary to register for the Doctoral School first.
